Sherry (Xiaoyu XIONG) participated in the online Sharing with her work Listen to Her in March 2022. As a Xiaoyu’s special guest, Qiong (one of local residents) also played Nanyin and interacted with Sherry’s online interactive installation in real time. The sharing attracted 3000 people to watch and interact totally. Sherry thinks that the online sharing is a continuation of her work Listen to Her. It is not only an activity to share work with peers, but also a new way of creating works through online interaction with the public in post-epidemic, which is an experimental exploration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sea Firefly<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ideas: Sea firefly is a kind of marine plankton with light. It emits blue shimmer in a specific environment at night, which can be seen on the seaside of Chongwu. Therefore, I combine this beautiful natural landscape with the sound of the music that played by Hui’an Woman, the blue lines looming with the sounds of Chinese instrument Dongxiao.
